ADV is where accessibility and quality meet. Words don’t do justice to what we’ve got going down at ADV and the only way to truly get ‘it’ is to experience ‘it’
We regularly celebrate our members with a ‘Squaddie of the Week’ award and transcend our community outside of the gym through various socials including hikes, river dips, golf days and our biannual Serotonin Games. A highlight for us was taking nearly 70 of our Squaddies to Battle Cancer 2022, having an incredible day and raising £6,000 in the process.
Imagine...
- Having a team of dedicated coaches in your corner both in and outside the gym
- Being not just educated in all things training, fitness, health and behaviours but being guided on how to implement what you learn
- Being a message, a call or a coffee away from ever feeling stuck
- Not just being another ‘member’ but a total success story gaining life changing confidence, self esteem and self respect
…and being part of Henley’s biggest and most thriving fitness community that will hold you to a higher standard and want to see you WIN as much as you do.
"Workouts change every day so it is never boring or repetitive and one set price allows you to attend as many sessions as you want. The cardio sessions are balanced with weights, yoga and pilates so there is something for everyone."
SARAH BLOMFIELD
"The whole team at ADVHQ achieves the perfect balance of variation, energy and enjoyment in every session. From being casual gym members before joining here, a session at ADVHQ has become a daily ritual."
DAVID CARLSSON
The Coaches
Adam Lubbock
Founder and Co-owner 'Lubbs' has been in this game since he was fresh-faced 18 year old and has picked up a few things on the way, which he'll share with you... if you're willing to get up early enough!
Rose Lubbock
Co-owner, Rose, is the wife of Lubbs (poor girl!) and since coming into the business in 2019, has gone from strength to strength. An angel on the yoga mat, a beast on the gym floor and the Queen of the castle!
Will Turville
Head Coach Will. Luckily, his coaching skills and ability to read people and energise a room, are a lot better than his jokes, puns and hair!
Harvey Draycott
Another one of our Gym - Yoga hybrids. Has come along way since we saw him pushing his belongings around the DFS carpark in Reading asking for a couple of quid for some Tofu and instead, offered him a job in our space to spread his peace, joy, fitness and love. The only thing that tops his energy is his smile.
Erin Cook
Coach and Yogi 'Ezza' brings the boss-bitch energy that every good gym needs! She'll unlock your lifting and breathing like never before
Dan Lubbock
...because every gaff needs someone who looks like a cross between George Clooney and Brad Pitt! You could easily say that another Lubbock could spell disaster but luckily, D is the polar opposite to Lubbs. Calm, collected, friendly, fairly normal. Don’t underestimate the power of someone who makes you feel comfortable in your own skin.
Tilly Heath
Tilly is our hugely passionate and brilliant pilates instructor, helping people on their personal journeys, becoming stronger each class. In 2019, she trained with STOTT to specialise in mat and reformer pilates. She loves classic pilates but enjoys being creative and ensuring clients have fun, dynamic and energising full body workouts!
Lulu Phillips
Lulu is our in house physiotherapist. She's a Squaddie (member) and a phenomenal athlete herself, so she just gets it. Seventeen years qualified and a genius when it comes to getting you back to full health. Always thriving to learn more, Lulu’s focus is on accurate assessment, diagnosis and swift recovery, to keep you on the gym floor!
